this sound has produced more “close to dusk howls” than I can imagine. The first coyote I had the privilege of taking… I heard him over this sound (and it had to be close to a mile away) by the time Randy’s Coyote in Distress played the second time in the sequence, there was a 40-45lb male and a smaller (assumed) female behind him just busting doors into the open right in front of me. Since then, I have found it to be a great sound to get the coyote riled up either just before dawn or just before sundown.
